I hold a BA and a Masters Degree in Philosophy. I have worked in the fields of hospitality, green grocery, and political analysis. Now I am a freelance journalist.

I am interested in politics, culture, and social trends. My favourite music is anything rocky although I also have a soft spot for Shakira. Unlike David Cameron and Nick Clegg, I do not like whiney bull crap, so steer away from Radiohead.

Favourite TV shows are South Park, Peep Show, and The Inbetweeners. Favourite films are Final Destination and the recent Star Trek.

Like Nick Clegg, I enjoy smoking. Like his pre-predecessor Charles Kennedy, I also love alcohol. Although unlike Kennedy, I'd never go to the AA about it. In fact, since cutting down through my own steam, I'm now 'addicted' to fruit smoothies.
